Don has been actively listing and selling cottage properties in the Muskoka Lakes region for close to 3 decades. However, real estate is not Don’s first successful career. Previously, his business and economics background served him well in his capacity as a senior economic advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Finance for over 10 years. In 1989, Don and his family moved north to Muskoka where he had previously cottaged all of his life. Don began his new career as a Royal LePage agent with the flagship office in Port Carling, servicing Lakes Joseph, Rosseau and Muskoka and the smaller surrounding lakes. Don specializes in all types of waterfront properties across all price ranges and has been trusted with the marketing of some of Muskoka’s finest luxury estates, including the precedent-setting sale of an 11.7 million dollar listing in 2015.
Over the years, Don has become one of the most successful, respected and trusted agents in the area, giving rise to a large, loyal following of satisfied sellers and buyers.
Don understands that buying or selling Muskoka waterfront is both complicated and involved. His primary goal is to provide his clients with the advice and guidance needed to put them at ease with this challenging process.
Prior to obtaining her real estate license, Neena enjoyed a successful 20 year career in the insurance industry working for various companies in the Toronto area where she progressed quickly to Senior Claims Examiner responsible for large litigation files and national accounts. Shortly after moving to Muskoka in 1989, Neena was hired by a regional independent insurance adjusting firm where she investigated and negotiated large, multi-line claims as well as managed the Bracebridge office.
In 2002, Neena began her real estate career and since then has partnered with Don in servicing the real estate needs of both their buyer and seller clients. Neena particularly enjoys her role as a buyer’s agent in which she has helped numerous cottage seekers find their own piece of paradise in Muskoka. She has a solid understanding of the market and is fully aware of the significant pitfalls that are unique to purchasing a recreational property. Clients feel at ease with Neena’s calm, caring, and patient approach to finding her clients just the right waterfront property.
